“Sakaeronavigatsia” Ltd. hosted the 18th meeting of the Air Traffic Management Group (ATMGE/18) of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Tbilisi, On December 10-13, 2013.

The workshop was attended by up to twenty representatives from thirteen countries (participating countries: France, Ukraine, Belgium, Armenia, Bulgaria, Latvia, Belarus, United States of America, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan and Georgia). The issues of priorities and objectives of air traffic security, global systems/database interaction and regional development plan were discussed at the meeting. The participants were also introduced to new standards and shared their own experiences.

Mr. Sven Hall, ICAO regional officer in air traffic management issues served as the chairperson of the workshop.
