New Agreement was signed by and between “Sakaeronavigatsia” Ltd. and Air Navigation Service of Czech Republic (ANS CR)

On March 9, Mr. Gocha Mezvrishvili, Director General of “Sakaeronavigatsia” Ltd. of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia signed an agreement with Air Navigation Service of Czech Republic (ANS CR) regarding flight inspection of NavAids, airfield ground lighting equipment, en-route radar coverage and flight validation of instrument flight procedures. flight inspection rules and standards are created by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

“Our company carries out the flight inspection 2 times a year. This procedure shall involve flight around the entire territory of Georgia by a specially equipped aircraft, collecting the data on operation of each technical navigation facility available in Georgia. The Czech party scheduled inspection in March, 2016. At the same time, en-route radar coverage and instrument flight procedures will be inspected. Flight inspections performed by the Czech company “Air Navigation Service of Czech Republic” (ANS CR) will provide “Sakaeronavigatisa” with an opportunity to prevent any technical deficiency and thus to maintain a high level of flight safety in the airspace of Georgia, - said Mr. Gocha Mezvrishvili, Director General of “Sakaeronavigatsia” Ltd.
